Woburn, MA– 21 Jan 2025 – BEI, a battery technology company with manufacturing facility in South Korea, announces a groundbreaking advancement in drone power solutions with its new high-performance battery. Its technology has the potential to revolutionize the drone industry, enabling drones to fly twice as long or more. Engineered for extreme conditions and demanding missions, this technology offers unprecedented energy density (410 Wh/kg) and operational capabilities, allowing defense drones to cover 70% greater distances, and operate reliably in extreme temperatures.


In independent tests conducted from Q2 to Q4 2024, BEI's battery demonstrated unmatched performance in sub-zero conditions. At -20°C, the battery powered a commercial drone for 40 minutes, while a conventional lithium-ion battery failed after just 10 seconds. This resilience opens up new possibilities for defense operations in challenging environments, from Arctic surveillance to high-altitude reconnaissance.
